My girls turned five last month. Five years old. I almost cannot remember what my life was like before they were here.
In our family, we don’t need a big reason to celebrate. Of course, we love to celebrate the big things like birthdays and holidays. But, I love to throw little celebrations too! A few weeks ago, we had a “Summer is Here!” brunch to ring in the new season. Nothing huge – just our family and a few fun treats.
Hungry for sourdough bread but lacking a starter, I was happy to run across this recipe. It does not produce a true sourdough bread, but it’s a great substitute. It’s a creamy delight that is a perfect dessert for the hot summer days. Plus, it’s super easy to make, takes only three ingredients, and you don’t need a fancy ice cream maker. Winner!
A little piece of nostalgia and of summers long ago.
The lifesaver garland was picked up at Cost Plus World Market on one of my recent weekly trips into the store.
A while ago, I happened upon this inexpensive and incredibly easy recipe for a do it yourself hair treatment to add moisture to damaged, colored or dry hair. I don’t know where I found this recipe, and I apologize to the original source but a huge thank you for coming up with it. It works wonderfully!
