Love is in the air with all of the hearts, decadent sweet treats, gift giving, party planning, fancy dinner ideas and more. Going along with all the love and hearts we decided to host a little Valentine’s Day party!
Our table and wall is decorated in brightly colored hearts, homemade decorations, and some really sweet treats!
Our friends are coming over soon as we put the finishing touches on our party table!
Let’s take a closer look at what we are serving, how we made the decorations, and what party tips we used to make this Valentine’s Day party a sweet success!
At the end of each party I put all the decorations away in a labeled tote so that I can use the decorations for next year or give away to a friend who may be planning a party!
Showcase your food at different levels to make it more appealing. I elevate a plate by using a cake stand or turning a bowl upside down and resting the plate on top.
Candy molds are the best! I have one for every holiday and so much can be created with them. You can create anything from candy, soap, candles and more!
Fill a bucket with candy, lollipops, pretzel or candy sticks. Fill the bucket with dry rice or beans and top off with something like M&Ms to make it look festive and to hold whatever you put in it in place.
Party favors are a sweet way of sending your guests off with a great memory of the time they had at the party! These {Valentine’s Day Mason Jar Gifts}are easy and inexpensive to make and are the perfect party favor!
Tabletop decorations add great character to the table! Different shaped bowls are great for dips, chips, and chocolate. Little signs, ceramic shapes and other things add a little something extra. These things are often inexpensive and can be found almost everywhere from the drugstore, food store, Walmart, Target, and all craft stores!
This {caramel corn} is one of our favorite sweet munchies. We stirred in some M&Ms for even more sweetness and color!
Put a personal touch on your napkins. Using plain white napkins and a sharpie you can decorate your napkins to match your party theme.
Create party decorations with the things that you have at home. For these heart decorations we traced hearts out of construction paper, added some glitter glue and glued the hearts to some ribbon and party curls.
We had a great time filling our plates with great food, and making wonderful memories with friends. This Valentine’s Day party was a sweet success!
