Summer is over and fall feels like it has arrived. With the season change comes the change in fruits! From peaches and berries to apples and oranges. Our family really enjoys taking a country ride to a rustic orchard that has not changed a bit since my childhood. We come home with a bushel of apples, roll up our sleeves, and get to creating great apple dishes.
Welcome to Throwback Thursday where each week I bring back blast from the past posts! I love sharing my favorite recipes, life lessons and more. As I look back on these throwbacks I am reminded of some really great food, good times, and a glimpse into how much I have grown as a person and a blogger!
Everything from dips, sauces, cakes, and pies we enjoy eating and baking with any type of apple. The orchard we pick from always has great apples! Join me for my fall series Anything Apple for the next few weeks as I feature some of our family’s favorite apple dishes!
