Throwback Thursday-Teacher Appreciation

Welcome to Throwback Thursday where each week I bring back blast from the past posts! I love sharing my favorite recipes, life lessons and more. As I look back on these throwbacks I am reminded of some really great food, good times, and a glimpse into how much I have grown as a person and a blogger!
It’s almost that time of year where we celebrate the teachers in our kids lives.  We take a week to honor the difference and impact that our teachers have o our children! It’s a week where we do something special each day to show the teachers  how much we appreciate all the hard work and dedication they pour into the students.
I have put together some fun, creative, inexpensive gifts to give the teachers this year to show how much we care! There are FREE printables that go along with each gift idea!

A little side note~ If you are looking for the printable to be ‘label’ size you can simply click on ‘print this label’. If you are looking for the printable to be the size featured in the pictures you can right click on the label and select print or copy image!
teacher appreciation

For this teacher appreciation gift I went to Joann Fabric and purchase bottles of soap for $1.
For this gift I went to Starbucks and purchased a $5 gift card. For $1 you can purchase this reusable cup. I filled the cup with mini candy bars and the gift card. You could also do a small bag of coffee. For some teachers I will skip the cup and tape a gift card inside one of the coffee sleeves.

For this teacher appreciation gift I went to the dollar store and purchased a mug for $1 and filled it with tea from the grocery store. Some of the mugs I placed in gift bags that I got from Micheal’s for $3 for a pack of eight.

I used a mason jar to fill this gift with soup ingredients. I figured even though it is not soup season this mix will store well until it is. I used my favorite mason jar soup mix that I found from mixes in a jar. I made two different labels to mix it up a bit.

A very warm thank you to the teachers  in our lives who have helped, encouraged, fostered and brought to life my kids love of learning!
