We celebrate each of the summer red, white and blue holidays with parades, barbecues, and pool parties! My kids asked me recently to tell them the history behind each holiday. I am embarrassed to admit that I didn’t know as much about them as I should.
So I did a little history digging, and I learned so much about the red, white, and blue holidays.
To make it fun for my kids to learn about these holidays I created a crossword puzzle. There are only 11 questions which is just a small glimpse of the amazing history I learned.
