Spring is birthday season in our home! All three of our kids were born in the Spring. March, April and May to be exact! We celebrate and sing happy birthday for three months straight!
We host friend and family parties and by the time the middle of May rolls around we have blown up hundreds of balloons, hung up countless decorations, and have baked dozens of cupcakes!
Picking the perfect card is something I love to do! Hallmark Sound Cards are among our favorites to choose! Pressing a button, or opening the card to hear which song will play always brings a smile to our kid’s faces!
After the friends and family go home, the last balloon pops and all the cupcakes are eaten we begin cleaning up! The kids open their gifts and tuck away their cards for safe keeping (especially the ones with a little moolah inside)!
We look to create a special place to display their cards and let the songs continue to play from the Hallmark Musical Cards.
We gather a few supplies to be able to hang the cards for all to see. We find a wall with some empty space. Using decorative rope and push pins we hang the rope. We jazz it up a bit with some burlap flowers. Let’s create the washi tape clothespins!
What you need to make washi tape clothespins:
Washi Tape
Clothespins
Scissor
Directions:
Cut a piece of washi tape the length of the clothespin
Peel the back off washi tape
Press washi tape on one side of clothespin
Repeat on other side
Now we are ready to display the cards! What a great way to remember the good times we had over our kid’s birthday season!
