It’s Monday morning, the alarm clock chirps at 5:00 am and it’s time to begin another week of work, school, and extracurricular activities. In the few quiet morning minutes that my hubby and I share we talk about who needs to be where and when. With full schedules and not a ton of extra time, we know it’s important to start the day off on the right foot with a good breakfast. What can be made that’s quick, healthier for you, and can be enjoyed while the family is still half asleep? A smoothie. It can be made with a variety of different ingredients that will keep you going until you can break for lunch!
While making my weekly shopping list, I always add ingredients for a smoothie because we make them a few times a week. A smoothie is great on its own or served with dry cereal or a granola bar. The sky’s the limit on what you can add to your smoothie to make it just right for you and your family! Over the years we have created so many different flavor profiles that have turned into great tasting smoothies!
One of our family’s personal favorites is this natural mixed berry smoothie! With just six ingredients this smoothie comes together in no time and makes enough for our family of 5! There are times when we want more than just one cup and the good news is this recipe is very easy to double!
One key ingredient that naturally sweetens the smoothie is Truvia Natural Sweetener. We choose this sweetener over any others because it’s a naturally sweet, zero-calorie, stevia-based sweetener. Truvia Natural Sweetener is a blend of stevia leaf extract and other natural ingredients that allow you to use it in everything from drinks to any recipe. I love how Truvia Natural Sweetener is so versatile as a sweetener product!

We recently made this mixed berry smoothie at a friend’s house and they came up with the idea to add a little whipped cream to the top. Everyone was able to enjoy this special touch to the smoothie and they loved that the smoothie was their favorite colors of pink and purple. It was the perfect drink to enjoy mid-morning while spending time with friends!
