Mother’s Day is around the corner and we are busy creating gifts, baking sweet treats, and getting ready for a day of relaxation and family! There are so many great ways to spend Mother’s Day!
In the past we have done everything from going out to brunch, traveling to see family, barbecue, plant flowers, watch movies, and spend the entire day outside.
This year we have decided on a few things from planting flowers, visiting family, and baking Jam Tartlets! I am really looking forward to Mother’s Day this year!
Here’s a list of ways to spend Mother’s Day:
Go out to brunch
Plant flowers/garden

Go for a hike
Have someone cook you a meal

Pamper yourself by getting a manicure or massage
Take a nap
Go fishing
Cash in some of the coupons your kids gave you
Paint a picture or mason jars
Go on a nature walk and capture some pictures
Watch your favorite movie with a big bowl of popcorn
Go out for ice cream or make your own
Have a barbecue with family and friends
Call a friend you haven’t spoken to in awhile
Write some cards & send them snail mail

Tap a nap {did I say that one twice}
The possibilities of how to spend Mother’s Day are endless! I am on a mission to take time to make memories with my family and friends not just on Mother’s Day but every day!
I know that for some Mother’s Day can be a very difficult time. My heart goes out to you as you navigate life’s journey through loss, hurt, or pain. Let someone you love put their arm around you, give you a shoulder squeeze, and tell you they love you.
