This Pampered Chef dessert is the most requested dessert in our home and goes great with ice cream,fresh whipped cream, coffee and is perfect any time of day! Crescent rolls, cream cheese and cherries make this dessert a real sweet treat! For a more figure friendly dessert you can use reduced fat crescent rolls and cream cheese!
Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake
2 packages of crescent rolls
8 oz cream cheese
1 can of cherry pie filling
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat Oven to 350.
In a large pie dish place a cup in the middle..Set aside four crescent rolls… Arrange the remaining crescent rolls around the cup..fold over the tip of the crescent roll..pinch the seams all together.
Beat together cream cheese,egg,powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread around crescent rolls
Add cherries
Remove the cup from the center…Take the four crescent rolls and slice in half to make eight and put over top the cherries..pinch the seams together.
Bake at 350° for 25 min…Enjoy 🙂
