As I look back on these throwbacks I am reminded of some really great food, good times, and a glimpse into how much I have grown as a person and a blogger!
We breathe the salt air, feel the sand between our toes, hear the crash of the ocean waves, and smell the boardwalk food. We are enjoying some time at one of our favorite beaches and soaking up the last bits of summer.
We enjoy a walk on the boardwalk, go crazy on some of the rides, buy hermit crabs, and eat one of our favorite boardwalk sweets caramel corn.
Crunchy, buttery, and caramelly warm popped corn filled to the brim is munching in our mouths.
We crave this popcorn when we come home, so we made some and wanted to share our recipe with all of you!
- 2 bags microwave popcorn
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips or honey roasted peanuts-optional
