The town of Millburn is brightly lit with holiday cheer and chatter. The night sky lights the sidewalk as a crowd of people walks in the warm evening through the quaint town to the Paper Mill Playhouse.
Nestled in the town of Millburn, New Jersey, The Paper Mill Playhouse has been bringing smiles and laughter to the hearts of people since 1938. This warm and inviting brick theater is featuring the all time holiday favorite A Christmas Story.
Featuring heartwarming and funny moments, this musical is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season!
A Christmas Story the musical is written after the 1983 movie of the same name! We watched with great anticipation to see our favorite parts from the movie unfold on the stage!
The Red Ryder B.B. gun, Christmas dinner, tongue stuck to the pole, the car breaking down, the pink rabbit suit, the leg lamp and more are scenes that play out and childhood memories of watching the movie come flooding back.
The theater erupts in laughter at the witty jokes and sighs in unison as the tender moments are shared. Watching A Christmas Story the musical with my family has sparked the wonder of Christmas as we smile and laugh together.
The cast of the show is brimming with talent as they sing and dance their way across the stage. Tender and heartwarming songs and a cozy house set with the famous leg lamp invite you to be a part of A Christmas Story.
We walk away joy filled and excited for the start of the holiday season! You could sense that feeling throughout the crowd as we listened to the exciting chatter and laughter as we walked back to our car.
