My hubby and I grew up in homes where our Moms baked and cooked from scratch and with lots of little tummys to fill up they looked for recipes that would go a long way!

Now that we are parents we find ourselves creating dishes and snacks in the kitchen that bring us back to our childhood. We love to create granola bars using a variety of tasty ingredients!

With the flavors of fall here, I head to the kitchen to stir up some salted caramel apple granola bars!

These 6 ingredient granola bars are simple to make and are one satisfying sweet and salty snack!

These granola bars are packed with flavor with Bear Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple granola as the star of the bar!

I gather my ingredients and as I  tear open the bag and I am met by the sweet smell of apples, caramel and fresh granola! Big apple slices, crunchy salted caramel, and great granola come together. It’s the perfect granola for my bars! 

I better put the granola in the bowl to make sure there is enough for the bars! The Bear Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple granola is joined with yogurt chips, almond butter, honey and drizzled with caramel! This granola bar is just the perfect sweet and salty snack to get us through our crazy days!

Salted Caramel Apple Granola Bars
 
Ingredients
  • 1-12 ounce bag Bear Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola
  • ½ cup yogurt chips
  • ¼ cup salted creamy almond butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup caramel bits
  • 1 teaspoon milk

Instructions
  1. Grease or put parchment paper in a 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl mix together the granola, yogurt chips, almond butter and honey.
  3. Spread evenly in the 8×8 baking dish.
  4. In a microwave safe bowl add the caramel bits and milk. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir until melted.
  5. Using a spoon drizzle caramel over bars.
  6. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes!
  7. Enjoy!
  8. If the bars appear to be soft and not staying together, place them in the freezer for a few minutes, and refrigerate the leftovers! 🙂
