Hi, I am Cathy! Child of the one true King, wife to an amazing marathon man, Mom to three cute kids, and I am also blessed to be known as daughter, sister, and friend.


Life is full of busy moments and our family is taking time to make memories in all that we do!


From culinary creations to family fun we are creating memorable moments each day and we are sharing them with all of you! 

Three Kids And A Fish began in late 2013 when my sister first introduced me to the world of Pinterest. I was living in a toddler bubble and my sister told me that she thought I would love pinterest because I am always baking, and creating fun things for the kids to do. She knows me so well! Before long I was spending hours pinning recipes and projects and my wheels were turning a mile a minute with all the things I could create! 


It wasn’t to long after my discovery of Pinterest that I began to realize that behind the things I was pinning were amazing bloggers. I didn’t even know what a blog was! 


That’s where my blogging journey began! Since that moment in time I have learned so much!  I have become a little more tech savvy, I have met some truly extraordinary bloggers, I have been blessed to be making this a part time job, and I have found absolute joy in sharing our family’s journey!

Some things about me: 
-I am the oldest of 6 children and my hubby is the youngest of 9. 
-Our kids were the only grandchildren on my side for over 8 years, on my hubby’s side they are grandchildren #23,24 &25.
-When I was a freshman in high school I watched a movie In the best interest of my children starring Sarah Jessica Parker and decided right then and there that I wanted to be a social worker when I grew up to advocate for children. 
-I graduated college with a degree in social work and some where along the way I became a elementary school teacher as well. 
-I left full time professional life for full time Mommy life. That was almost 10 years ago and I have cherished each moment and have no regrets!
-The first line in my profile “Child of the one true King” is taken from a Matt Redman song called Hello My Name Is.
–I love Jesus and every day I am amazed at how wide, and deep and rich is His love for us!
-I love any shade of green! 
-I am passionate about coffee, I will drink coffee from anywhere and anytime of day! My favorites are Starbucks and Land of a Thousand Hills. 
-I even use coffee in my brownies! 
-I am the only one in my family that is not a runner. I just can’t bring myself to like it.
-I love to walk and I walk really fast, almost running but not quite. See note above. 
-I have a slight obsession with mason jars! I use them for gifts, things around the house, desserts, making my own lotions and so much more!  
-My all time favorite actress is Audrey Hepburn. I stand amazed at her talent, and how humble she was. I admire her work with unicef. 
-I love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter together and I dream up what sweet treats I can make using them.
