Triple Berry Salsa

 This sweet triple berry salsa is the second recipe to make its debut in my bursting with berries series. All these berries are in season here and our family just can’t get enough of them! This triple berry salsa is simple to make, and is great for chip dipping, or as a topping for ice cream, yogurt, or waffles! Check out the homemade cinnamon tortilla chips that we dipped in this berry good salsa for lunch today!
 
Triple Berry Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Chips
 
Ingredients
  • Berry Salsa:
  • 6 ounces fresh blueberries
  • 6 ounces fresh blackberries, cut in half
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons blackberry jam
  • Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
  • Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • oil or water

Instructions
  1. Berry Salsa:
  2. Wash berries thoroughly
  3. Place all berries in a bowl
  4. Zest the lemon and add to bowl
  5. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice over the berries
  6. Add the brown sugar and jam to the berries and mix well!
  7. Cooking Directions for Cinnamon Sugar Chips
  8. Preheat Oven to 350F
  9. Brush or spray tortillas with oil or water
  10. Combine sugar and cinnamon together
  11. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the tortilla
  12. Turn tortilla over and repeat
  13. Cut into eight wedges
  14. Place on a cookie sheet
  15. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes
