Peanut Butter Swirl Double Chocolate Brownies

I love the smell of chocolate brownies baking! These peanut butter swirl double chocolate brownies are a decadent, chocolaty, with a hint of creamy peanut buttery morsel that melts in your mouth! 
 
This brownie is one sweet ending to the day and is easy enough to make on a whim and they freeze really well if you want to save some for later!

Peanut Butter Swirl Double Chocolate Brownies
 
Ingredients
  • 1 stick of butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup of peanut butter
  •  

Instructions
  1. Preheat Oven to 325F
  2. Grease an 8×8 square pan
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the sugar,cocoa and salt
  4. Stir until the ingredients are well blended and hot
  5. When cocoa mixture has cooled a bit, add the eggs and stir well
  6. Stir in the vanilla
  7. Add the flour and stir well
  8. Add the chocolate chips and stir well, the chips will melt a bit because the mixture is still a little warm
  9. Spread brownie batter on bottom of greased pan. Dollop the peanut butter over brownies
  10. Take a butter knife and run in vertically through the peanut butter and then do the same thing horizontally…repeat three times
  11. Bake at 325F for 20-25  minutes
  12. Enjoy 🙂
