I love the smell of chocolate brownies baking! These peanut butter swirl double chocolate brownies are a decadent, chocolaty, with a hint of creamy peanut buttery morsel that melts in your mouth!
This brownie is one sweet ending to the day and is easy enough to make on a whim and they freeze really well if you want to save some for later!
Peanut Butter Swirl Double Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup cocoa
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ¼ cup of peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 325F
- Grease an 8×8 square pan
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the sugar,cocoa and salt
- Stir until the ingredients are well blended and hot
- When cocoa mixture has cooled a bit, add the eggs and stir well
- Stir in the vanilla
- Add the flour and stir well
- Add the chocolate chips and stir well, the chips will melt a bit because the mixture is still a little warm
- Spread brownie batter on bottom of greased pan. Dollop the peanut butter over brownies
- Take a butter knife and run in vertically through the peanut butter and then do the same thing horizontally…repeat three times
- Bake at 325F for 20-25 minutes
