Next week kids will be decked out in their costumes, participate in school parades, attend harvest or Halloween parties, and go trick or treating.
Each year we talk to our kids about being safe while we go out trick or treating. These trick or treat safety tips have allowed us to start conversations with our kids about stranger danger, checking their candy, and how to be safe and still have fun.
I created this treat or treat safety tips printable to hang up as a reminder to our kids and their friends how we can be safe while trick or treating!
Are you a parent, teacher, care giver, grandparent, relative or friend that would like to spread the word about how to be safe while trick or treating? Print these safety tips out to help spread the word!

These are some great tips, Cathy! I'll be taking my kiddos out this year, but they've already asked if, when they are older, they can go out alone. I don't know if I'll ever be ready for that. 🙂 I love the ghost suckers! Just one question…where can I buy cheesecloth?

Hi Christine! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! I am with you, I don't think I'll ever be ready for my kids to go trick or treating by themselves! 🙂 Thanks for liking these lollipops(suckers)! I bought the cheesecloth from Joann Fabric last year in their Halloween section. It came in a really big pack and it has lasted me two years worth of ghost lollipops! I have also seen cheesecloth in my supermarket in the baking section. Good luck finding some and enjoy making these ghosts!

I love these safety tips! My oldest daughter is close to the age where she has more trick or treating freedoms, these are great to pass along.

Thanks so much Sami for checking these out! My sweet boy is also creeping close to the age, and I am so not ready! Having this handy helps! 🙂
