A succulent plant with a printable label, “Thanks for helping me grow.”
Teacher appreciation is right around the corner and each year we look to create something special to say thank you for all that they do.
We have been painting mason jars recently and planting little succulent plants inside. After creating these mason jar plants, I thought that these would make great teachers gift. They needed a little something extra. Hmmm, oh I know a printable will turn this mason jar gift into something even better!
Sticking with the theme of plants, I decided to use the classic phrase, “Thanks for helping me grow.” Taking a painted mason jar and small pots, succulent plants, and this printable I created a teacher appreciation gift! I am so excited for my kids to give these plants to their teachers!
I decided to make the printable label into a garden stick by using a fancy toothpick!
Let’s put together this teacher appreciation gift!
What You Need:
Painted Mason Jar/Small Planters
Succulents
Printable Label
Extra Planting Dirt
Toothpicks
Scotch Tape
Directions:
If needed divide succulent plants to fit the jar/planter
Place succulent in jar/planter
Fill in with extra dirt
Print out label using a lightweight cardstock
Tape to a toothpick
Add to planter

A truly clever gift idea! Most teachers would be pleased with this!
I would suggest cutting the card, leaving a space below for the student
to sign his or her name in the whtie border.

Can you make these larger

Great question Lisa! You can make these labels larger by cutting a border around them and either leaving it white or coloring it in!
