The red, white, and blue holidays are around the corner and this is one of my favorite sweet treats to serve! This quick berry crisp only has five ingredients!! The freshness of the blueberries, combined with the sweetness of cherry pie filling and the buttery cake crumb topping make this quick berry crisp a party favorite. To send your friends and family over the moon serve this warm with a scoop of ice cream on top!
Quick Berry Crisp
Ingredients
- 1-15.25 ounce yellow, white or vanilla cake mix
- 1-21 ounce cherry pie filling
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a 8×8 dish, 9 inch pie plate, or a baking dish similar in size place the blueberries
- Pour the cherry pie filling on top of blueberries and spread evenly
- In a bowl melt the butter
- Add the sugar and cake mix and using a fork mix until crumbly and moist
- Spread crumb mixture on top of berry mixture
- Bake in oven at 350F for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown
- Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!
- Enjoy 🙂
