Progresso Bistro Cups and this Fall Spinach Salad are perfectly paired with great flavor and taste!
In the past couple of years, the soup and salad trend has become very popular! There are places that do you pick two, unlimited soup and salad, have a bowl of soup and add a salad for a little extra, and salad and soup bars.
Progresso Bistro Cups take soup to a whole new level!
I watched in amazement as my Keurig heated, popped, and poured broth into my cup! With great flavors like Tomato Parmesan, Broccoli and Cheese and Chicken Southwestern these delicious, creamy soups are warm and full-flavored!
I received all three flavors in the mail! I love happy mail! Can you guess which one I tried first? Check below to find out!
Progresso Bistro Cups are a great soup to enjoy anywhere! With their easy pour, brew, stir, and enjoy process you can enjoy this soup at home, work, school, on the field, and even on the go!
At first I was a little hesitant to put broth cups in my Keurig because I didn’t want it affecting the coffee flavor that it usually brews! Not to worry, these broth pods do not affect the flavor of other great pods you brew!
The Progresso Bistro Cups have just launched recently in Northeast US and you can check out their website for more information on which stores near you carry this tasty creation! You find these amazing soups in the coffee or soup aisle.

I paired the Progresso Bistro Cups with one of my favorite Fall Spinach Salads! This salad comes together quickly with just a few ingredients and every time I make it the salad bowl is empty in minutes!
This salad is fresh spinach, cranberries, candied pecans, gorgonzola cheese, and fresh pears in a light citrusy homemade dressing!
- 11-ounces fresh spinach
- 2 pears, any type-sliced thin
- 1 cup cranberries
- 5-ounce bag of candied pecans
- 2 ounces of gorgonzola cheese-crumbled
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup rice or white wine vinegar
- salt & pepper to taste
- In a big salad bowl place spinach, pears, cranberries, pecans, and cheese. Toss.
- In a small bowl mix together olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar. Mix well.
- Pour desired amount of dressing on salad, toss and enjoy!
For a peppery bite add a cup or two of fresh arugula.
I tried the Chicken Southwestern first and it was delicious! It’s one of my favorite flavored soups!
It was so warm and flavorful and went so well with my bites of my Fall Spinach Salad! It is the perfect soup and salad combination made right at home!
